Features:
- 4 GB RAM | 64 GB ROM | Expandable Upto 256 GB
- 15.9 cm (6.26 inch) Full HD+ Display (19:9 Ratio)
- 12MP (f 1.9) + 5MP (Depth) | 20MP + 2MP (Depth) Dual Front Camera
- 4000 mAh Li-Polymer Battery
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SOC
- MiUI 10
- Hybrid Slim Slot.
Pros:
- Slightly improved camera.
- Decent Battery Backup.
- Nano Coating Technology implemented in the phone which was not there in Redmi Note 5 Pro.
- Dual VoLTE
- Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 is supported but the charger in the box is not a quick charger its a 10W normal charger. If a person needs a quick charger he have to spend 500-600 to buy a quick charger.
- Latest Mi UI 10.
Cons:
- Big Notch.
- Old Snapdragon 636 SOC, it's a powerful processor but in that price segment other brands are giving Kirin 710, 660 SOC which are brand new and more powerful.
- The Dual Front Camera is not at all effective.
- Not properly optimized.
Verdict: Frankly speaking, Xiaomi strategy with Redmi note 6 Pro is not at all good. Its not a good successor of Redmi Note 5 Pro. A big notch with a old processor doesn't seems to be attractive. In that price segment Honor and Realme is giving much better hardware than Mi.
If you already have Redmi Note 5 Pro, don't go for an upgrade.
